The Schenectady Curling Club held an open house at its Niskayuna rink Sunday afternoon in an effort to introduce members of the public to the game. Club members taught attendees proper throwing and sweeping techniques.

NISKAYUNA — The Schenectady Curling Club will hold an encore Trash and Treasures garage sale 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at the club, 1084 Balltown Road. The sale will benefit the club. The public is invited.
