Rotary meeting set for May 23
Vicki Ramotar, a resource development specialist with Crossroads Center for Children in Rotterdam, will be the guest speaker at Niskayuna Rotary on May 23.
Ramotar, who has a master of science in education, will talk about Crossroads Center’s mission, philosophy and history, and ways for the community to help with their mission.
The Niskayuna Rotary welcomes the public to their meetings, every Tuesday morning from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM at the Blue Ribbon Restaurant & Bakery, 1801 State St (Route 5).
Individuals who have interacted with people with autism or special needs are especially encouraged to attend on May 23.
Join guest speaker Kamryn Wolf of the Albany Pride Center and a student panel from Niskayuna High School’s Visibility SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Alliance) as they discuss promoting a supportive environment for LGBT people in the community.
The event will be held on May 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in The Little Theater at Niskayuna High School. There is no charge and all are welcome.
