SCHENECTADY — City police are looking for a man who robbed an Upper Union Street bank just after noon Wednesday.

No injuries were reported and no weapons were displayed, police said.

The incident happened just after 12:30 p.m. at the Trustco Bank at 1620 Union St.

Police received an alarm from the bank reporting a robbery. Employees reported a man entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers. The tellers handed over cash and the suspect fled west on Eastern Parkway, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored sweatpants.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Schenectady Police Department.

That incident happened Feb. 3 at the branch near the corner of State Street and Balltown Road. After receiving information that the suspect had gotten on the bus, police stopped it and arrested him without a struggle. Police identified the suspect as Michael Jones, 42, of Schenectady.
