Niskayuna softball trio earns recognition

NISKAYUNA — Three players from Niskayuna were named honorable mentions to the Suburban Council softball all-league teams.

Caroline Kelly, Molly Mason and Sydni Towe were recognized from the Silver Warriors.

Shenendehowa’s Kelly Barkevich was named the league’s Most Valuable Player, Ballston Spa Ashlyn Kersch was selected the Pitcher of the Year and Kristen Calahan of Shaker was the Coach of the Year.
