SCHENECTADY COUNTY — Three people who were recommended to the Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority Board were interviewed by the Schenectady County Legislature on Monday.

Three of the current 11-member board are retiring after serving with Metroplex for several years.

Robert Wall, a board member who has been with the authority for over a decade, is retiring form his seat, which represents the towns of Duanesburg and Princetown.

William Chapman is also retiring from his position with the Metroplex board for the town of Niskayuna.

A seat has been vacant on the board since member Janet Hutchison, who served on the board for Schenectady County, resigned.

Her resignation has left a vacant seat on the Metroplex board for the past several months. Wall and Chapman’s terms have expired, but they have remained serving on the board until replacements were appointed.
