On Nov. 6 through 7, students rolled the die at Van Antwerp Middle School during NISKA-GAME, a life-sized board game which draws inspiration from Monopoly. The event was sponsored by the Niskayuna Community Action Program.
Judges included Joe Landry, Jacqueline Giaccone and Chief Stevens. High school students helped out with judging and coaching, while parents filled the banker and real estate roles. Proceeds will go back to the community through youth leadership opportunities, educational forums, student scholarships, participation in the President’s Volunteer Service Award and NISKA-DAY.
