THE HIGHLIGHTS

The Niskayuna girls’ soccer team had an exciting debut, as Marika Contompasis had two goals and Hannah Munro collected three assists in a season-opening win.

Also, in a loss for the Niskayuna girls’ volleyball team, Julia Wagner had five blocks, three kills, and three aces.

TODAY’S TOP GAME

For its season opener, the Niskayuna field hockey team heads to Saratoga Springs. The Silver Warriors will be looking to start their 2015 campaign by knocking off last year’s Section II Class A champion.
