NISKAYUNA — Here is what you need to know for today about Niskayuna athletics:

YESTERDAY’S SCORES

GIRLS’ TENNIS: Shenendehowa 5, Niskayuna 4

GOLF: Niskayuna 255, Shaker 268

THE HIGHLIGHTS

After a 0-2 start, the Niskayuna golf team got the job done with a win against Shaker. Leading the Silver Warriors were Tyler Gregory and Nick Rumsey, who shot a 40 and 41, respectively. Gregory was the medalist for the event.

TODAY’S TOP GAME

Plenty of good options for today, but we’ll give some extra attention to the Niskayuna girls’ volleyball team’s upset attempt against Shenendehowa. The Plainsmen won the Section II Class AA title last year, but Niskayuna has a shot today to send some shockwaves through the area with a big win.
