NISKAYUNA — Here is what you need to know for today about Niskayuna athletics:

YESTERDAY’S SCORES

No contests yesterday, but let’s recap last week’s light schedule: The golf team fell in its opening two matches of the year, while girls’ tennis was a 9-0 winner against Albany.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

For the Niskayuna girls’ tennis team, Lesley Santos picked up a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the No. 1 spot, while No. 5 Sasha Towe was the lone Silver Warriors player to win 6-0, 6-0 in the team’s 9-0 win Aug. 28.

TODAY’S TOP GAME

We’ll go with the Niskayuna girls’ tennis team’s matchup with Shenendehowa, both of whom won 9-0 in their first matches of the season.
