NISKAYUNA — Fall sports practices for high school teams started Aug. 17, and the Niskayuna field hockey team wasted no time getting down to business.

The squad has scrimmages scheduled for Aug. 24 and 27 against Shaker and Johnstown, respectively, while the Silver Warriors’ first game comes Sept. 2 at Saratoga Springs.

Niskayuna’s first home game will take place Sept. 4 against Columbia. That contest will start at 4:15 p.m.
