NISKAYUNA — Summer’s not over, but fall sports won’t be held back any longer.

Opening practices and tryouts for squads at Niskayuna High School got going Monday, with many teams attempting to beat the heat with early start times.

Most teams will compete in games until late August or early September, while the school’s golf team will get things started next week.

Your Niskayuna caught up with as many of the teams as possible on Monday, but look for more photos throughout the week both on yourniskayuna.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/YourNiskayuna, or on Twitter @YourNiskayuna.
