NISKAYUNA — One man had to be extricated from a car after two vehicles crashed into a Niskayuna house this afternoon.
The accident happened at about 2 p.m. at Albany Street and Mohrhoff Avenue.
That’s when both a car and pickup truck hit a house on the corner.
The occupant of the truck got out on his own, but the driver of the car was trapped.
Responding firefighters had to cut off the top of the car to get the man out. He was taken away in an ambulance toward Albany.
An official at the scene said the man’s injuries were not believed to be major.
A fire official said the accident also sent a second person to the hospital.
Exactly how the crash happened wasn’t immediately clear.
