NISKAYUNA — Here are three things to know for today about Niskayuna High School athletics:

1: Fresh off a Senior Day win Tuesday, the Niskayuna girls lacrosse team will look to close out a perfect regular season today with a win at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake. These clubs met in last year’s Section II Class B championship game, with Burnt Hills winning that game. Earlier this season, Niskayuna topped Burnt Hills, 13-4. Also, the Niskayuna boys lacrosse team looks to finish off a perfect Section II season tonight with a home game against the Spartans.

2: The Niskayuna girls track and field team lost a pair of league meets Wednesday to Colonie and Shaker. Taking individual wins for the Silver Warriors were Amelia Kokernak (400-meter hurdles), Julia Wagner (high jump, triple jump).

3: Losses came for both the Niskayuna baseball and Niskayuna softball teams Wednesday. Playing against Shenendehowa, the baseball club lost 14-5, while the softball team lost 16-2. Hannah Salmon had a pair of hits for the softball team, while Kyle Pick had two hits for the baseball club.
