Girls Basketball: Niskayuna tops Burnt Hills in league finale

NISKAYUNA — The Niskayuna girls basketball team finished its league season with a 56-21 victory Tuesday against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.

Kayla O’Brien had 15 points in the win, while Niskayuna also received 10 points from Olivia Souky. Chipping in with nine and eight points, respectively, were Deirdre Schutzman and Madison Schmitt.

The Silver Warriors were up at halftime, 29-9.

Niskayuna has a 6-12 record, and a 4-12 mark in the Suburban Council.
