Alpine Ski: Fratterego leads Niskayuna squads at West

QUEENSBURY — Both Niskayuna alpine ski squads competed at Wednesday’s Glens Falls Alpine Invitational Slalom at West Mountain, with the boys finishing in fourth place and the girls coming in seventh.

PJ Fratterego led the boys squad with a fourth-place finish, taking 45.79 seconds for the course. Also scoring for the Silver Warriors were Andrew Fratterego, who came in seventh place, and Liam Christie, who was 28th.

For the Niskayuna girls, Zoe Lynds led with a 17th-place finish; Julia Sexton was next at No. 19; and, Amanda Shadlock rounded out the scoring in 28th place.

Shenendehowa won the female team race, while Queensbury won the male competition.
