Boys Basketball: Niskayuna’s win streak up to 3

NISKAYUNA — The Niskayuna boys basketball team kept its winning ways going Tuesday, as the Silver Warriors emerged with a 75-64 victory against Columbia.

Niskayuna (5-8, 5-6 Suburban Council) has now won three games in a row after losing eight consecutive contests.

For the Silver Warriors, Tim Doyle had 20 points on a 14-of-15 night from the foul line. Meanwhile, Aidan Byrne added 15 points, Cliquijion Rock had 13, and Pat O’Brien collected nine.

Quajay Scott had 19 points to lead Columbia.

Niskayuna trailed after one quarter, 21-16, but used a 24-8 second quarter to take control of the game.
