SCHENECTADY — Get in the holiday spirit with free holiday movies at Proctors later this month.

Courtesy of Elf the Broadway Musical, Proctors will be playing a series of classic holiday movies on Dec. 13 and Dec. 20.

Here’s a list of movies that will be shown at Proctors before Christmas and ahead of Elf the Broadway Musical on the main stage at Proctors Dec. 23 through Dec. 28:

Saturday, Dec. 13

  • Santa Claus Conquers the Martians at 1 p.m.
  • Scrooged at 3 p.m.
  • Home Alone at 5:15 p.m.
  • Elf at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Polar Express at 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 20

  • Disney’s A Christmas Carol (animated, with Jim Carey) at 1 p.m.
  • Elf at 3 p.m.
  • Home Alone at 5 p.m.
  • Scrooged at 7 p.m.

All of the movies will be played in the GE Theatre with the exception of The Polar Express, which will be shown on the main stage.

Elf the Broadway Music is at Proctors Dec. 23 through Dec. 28 at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets range in price from $20 to up to $75 and can be purchased by phone at 518-346-6204 or online at proctors.org.
