Trustco bank to reopen on Upper Union Street

SCHENECTADY — Trustco Bank on Saturday, Aug 2 will mark the reopening of its branch at 1620 Union St.

The location is one of the company’s oldest — it dates from 1946 and was only the fourth Trustco opened. The bank will hold a party from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to mark the occasion.

The location was remodeled to accommodate a needed drive-up ATM and teller window. Under newly expanded hours, the bank will open at 8 a.m. Thursdays and Fridays.  With the reopening of the branch, Trustco will have 141 locations in four states.
