From left, Niskayuna students Ian Keat and Andrew Liu created a video game as part of the "Introduction to Computer Programming" course offered through the district's summer enrichment program. Through the week-long course, students entering grades 6-8 gained experience creating animations and video games with two software systems designed for beginning programmers. This is the first year the district is offering the enrichment programs, and the courses students are taking include web design, a workshop in college applications and essays, and "Mechatronics: Electricity, Robotics, & automation.
