What to do in Niskayuna this weekend?

Strawberry Fest and Art Show set on Upper Union Street

Fest and Art Show on Upper Union Street will be held from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.

The festival will be preceded by a 5k run at 9 a.m. beginning at Palmer Avenue and Union Street.

Besides shopping, there will be live music, games, pony rides, and a Cinderella-themed meet and greet for kids.

There will be strawberry treats at many restaurants–including dog biscuits for furry family members.

Soroptomist Garden Tour set

The Soroptomist 11th Annual Garden Tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Nine gardens at homes throughout Schenectady County will be visited–rain or shine.

Tickets are available at The Petal Pusher, Oliver’s Cafe, Scott’s Hallmark in Mayfair Plaza, Felthousen’s Florist, The Open Door, Experience and Creative Design, Kulak’s Nursery and Faddegon’s Nursery.

Cost is $18 per ticket; buy five and get one free.
