On Wednesday, May 21, Troop 2383 was honored by the Schenectady YWCA as their volunteers of the year. Troop 2383,8th graders from Niskayuna, was recognized for their service to the YWCA this fall. The girls conducted a Halloween costume drive which yielded over 125 costumes and made trick or treat bags for the children of the YWCA. The girls also delivered books to the YWCA from the Niskayuna GS community book drive.

The girls are already planning what they can do to help children in our community in the next school year. Troop 2383 girls are truly Girl Scouts with “courage, confidence, and character.”
